		<description>Hi,

I went to that website, but I don't think i could find what you were talking about. From looking at the website, i feel confident that, should i get some device that only outputs HDMI, i could get a HDMI-&#62;DVI adapter and a DVI-&#62;Component video adapter and connect that to either my receiver or my tv. The only problem, potentially, i see, is that any unprotected HD material is going to use HDCP and i don't think that will make the transition across the adapters.
I was/am looking at the iScan HD+ which will take 480i and upconvert it to the hd's, out through a component video connection. Anything greater than that is just passed through.
I am also waiting to get my Onkyo back after finally sending it in to get upgraded. Did you do that? How did that work for you?

Thanks

<description>HDMI isn't a factor yet as I only have the DVD player directly connected to my projector. If in the future I need to switch inputs I'll just buy a HDMI switch box. Check monoprice.com for component converters.

I will have to buy a new processor someday, but I'm not worried yet.

Thanks

		<description>Hi,

I see that you too have the Onkyo TX-DS989, that you also promised your wife you would never have to buy another receiver again! :)

How, if you have, have you over come the issue of the lack of HDMI inputs on that receiver? Or how to take HD dvd output through to component video input? (The only thing i had found was possibly an upconverter).

Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks
